For today’s feature, I thought we’d take a look back in the warmer months. I know that I’m missing that warmth and sun! This session is by Jess of Lux et Amor based out of Pensacola, Florida.
The session took place on Pensacola beach during sunrise on the fourth of July. I often encourage my clients to look at sunrise as a great alternative to a sunset session. Not only can we still get that soft pretty light that we have during golden hour, we also get the added bonus of it being cooler and less humid ( because the sun hasn’t been warming everything up all day), and little ones tend to be less cranky, more energetic and ready to play when they’re nice and rested. And, for a beach session shooting at sunrise means we will more than likely have the beach to ourselves!
I shot this session with a Nikon d700 and three lenses, the 70-200 2.8, the 50 1.4, and the 105 2.8 macro.
