Weekly Favorites Features

July 29, 2016

My friends….this is it. My final “weekly favorites” blog post. Before I get to this weeks favorite winners, I’d like to take a moment to thank Stacey and everyone from the Light Inspired team. I’ve followed and been a member of the Light Inspired forum/blog for a long time. It was honestly the very first photography forum I’d joined and the ladies have always been nothing but encouraging, inspiring, and supportive….and not just on the good days, but even on my worst days…and when I wasn’t even around for a year. When you take competition out of the equation, community can bring you a world of good. I’ve gained some really amazing friends from the wonderful environment that is Light Inspired. It has been an absolute HONOR to be a part of this amazing community. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for the opportunity.

This week, I found myself smiling bigger with each image that represented a moment in time that created a wonderful, childhood memory. A silly moment, a quiet moment….an image that will be looked back on with a smile and a story. There were so many amazing submissions of those kind of moments this week. My Momma heart is smiling…

So, here are this weeks top 10, in no particular order….

LI-Avatar-300x300Tammy Davis-Scirrotto is a light chasing, Canon girl located in Southern New Jersey. She is happily married to her best friend, Nick, and is called “Mom” by four amazing kiddos and one crazy, fur baby.

Tammy’s love for photography began when her first child was born and has continued to grow every day since. She takes great joy in documenting the every day life of her own family and also in capturing the special moments and connections between her clients and their families. Though she loves photography in all forms, her greatest love is telling a story through her images.

In her spare time, you will find Tammy at the stands, cheering for baseball and hockey, rummaging through flea markets and antique shops with her hubby, getting lost in a Nora Roberts novel, or unwinding with a long run.
